Romans 10:14 "How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?"
I have yet to regret witnessing to someone about Christ and what He has done. God has granted me the privilege of bringing His word to people at my school. I find it amazing how often people do want to talk about life after death. I find it somewhat tricky to stay on topic, as it can quickly go off into many different directions other the the gospel.
I witnessed to two friends at school last week and to my great surprise one of them brought it up again today. He asked me what do people do in heaven when they get there? I was honestly a little stumped. At first I said "Well whatever we do it's going to be better than eternally suffering." He laughed. The Sunday school answer came after: "Glorify God". "What does that mean?" he asked me? "Well..." I didn't know what to say! I did end up talking about how we will be blessed to be around such an amazing infinite Being and He will continue to teach us marvelous things. Also the fact that there will be no suffering anymore is quite the blessing.
We will talk again he assured me. What a blessing! This conversation has prompted me to do some research, which I might not have done if I hadn't witnessed to him in the first place. So what WILL we do in heaven? To be continued!
But If I can bring any advice about witnessing, be patient and bring it back to the gospel. Be honest when you don't know an answer. I have learned many things while witnessing because of questions people ask, it has forced me to dig deeper in the Bible. So preach the gospel my friends! You never know what YOU might end up learning.
